Info about Skylanders Swap Force.

Well the 3rd Skylander game is probably gonna come out in fall, which is called "Skylanders: Swap Force" and you are possibly required to get a new starter pack of the game. Old figures can still be used on the new portal. Swap Force will not be done by Toys for Bob.

The new toys are actually rather weird, They are called "swap force" because you can switch parts around apparently. Like the upper part to a different lower part. It's quite odd, and quite complex considering the portal has to read both parts. It is said that the Starter pack comes with the Game, portal, 2 swap force Skylander (2 for double of the fun) and one returning skylander. So far there's gonna be 8 more lightcores, so please keep your eyes peeled.

Only 4 series 3 characters have been revealed. Sprocket, Chop Chop, Trigger Happy, and Stealth elf. Only Stealth elf's figure has been revealed, though. There will be 2 returning characters from each element.

There's a starter pack choice. There's the dark starter pack which contains:
5 Dark skylanders (2 of them being swapforce ones), the game, portal, poster, trading cards, and stickers. You can preorder it from Gamstop for $100.

It looks like there's gonna 2 for each and every element for the Swapable part Skylanders. And 2 normal skylanders for every element as well.
